Shaktiland is nestled within the Ocala National Forest and exists in close harmony with the natural environment. As such, guests should be aware that bees, caterpillars, butterflies, and other forest creatures are part of this shared ecosystem. While we maintain the space with care, encounters with wildlife are a natural aspect of the experience.

Located in a rural setting on a dirt road, occasional dust may be present—particularly during periods of drought affecting the State of Florida. We make every effort to minimize this, though it cannot be entirely eliminated. Guests may also experience intermittent sounds from passing vehicles, including cars, boat trailers, and ATVs, which are beyond our control.

Shaktiland is primarily an outdoor, experiential environment, including its classroom, kitchen, and dining areas. In the event of inclement weather, two comfortable covered decks with rocking chairs and a sheltered dining space are available as alternatives. We are equipped with outdoor a/c, fans, and heaters if needed. Outdoor yoga sessions on the open deck may be affected or adjusted due to rain, humidity, or wet conditions.

Please note that all bookings are non-refundable. In the event of a cancellation, we will gladly assist you in rescheduling your visit whenever possible. Shaktiland reserves the right to cancel or modify retreats without prior notice due to weather conditions, safety considerations, or other unforeseen circumstances.
